Alece Ellis Volunteer

Of the Year Award

This award is a perpetual award designed to recognize the member who has helped the club out by volunteering personal time and talent to help the club throughout the year.

Jack Foster Perpetual Award

This award is given each year to the club member with the highest point score at Training Level or above from a schooling show sanctioned by CDCTS. This award was conceived by the club in the 1990s as a memorial to the husband of Karen Foster, a past president of the club. Jack was a club volunteer who died suddenly of a heart attack in his mid-forties.

The Merry Hour Award

This is a perpetual trophy that was created in honor Carol Grau, the founding member of the club and her legacy of service to our equestrian community. This award is intended to recognize an outstanding, long-time CDCTS member who has embodied the mission statement of the club, with a long history of service to the club.
